Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking your luxury yacht charter with Aura Voyage

Charter Agreement

1. Booking and Confirmation

All yacht charter bookings with Aura Voyage are subject to availability and confirmation. A signed charter agreement and deposit payment are required to secure your reservation.

Deposit Requirements: 50% of the total charter fee is due upon booking confirmation, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to charter commencement.

Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA): An additional 25-35% of the charter fee is required to cover fuel, food, beverages, port fees, and other operational expenses.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

2. Cancellation Terms

Client Cancellation:

  • • More than 90 days: 25% penalty
  • • 60-90 days: 50% penalty
  • • 30-60 days: 75% penalty
  • • Less than 30 days: 100% penalty

Force Majeure:

  • • Weather conditions
  • • Government restrictions
  • • Mechanical failures
  • • Acts of nature

In cases of force majeure, Aura Voyage will work with clients to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Guest Responsibilities

3. Charter Guest Obligations

Documentation & Legal Requirements:

  • • Valid passports for all guests (minimum 6 months validity)
  • • Appropriate visas for Albanian waters and planned destinations
  • • Travel insurance with maritime coverage
  • • Medical certificates if required

Conduct & Safety:

  • • Compliance with captain's instructions and safety protocols
  • • Respect for yacht property and equipment
  • • Adherence to local laws and regulations
  • • No smoking in interior areas (designated exterior areas only)
Liability & Insurance

4. Limitation of Liability

Aura Voyage maintains comprehensive marine insurance covering the yacht and third-party liability. However, guests are responsible for their personal belongings and any damage caused by negligence.

Personal Property: Aura Voyage is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Guests are advised to secure comprehensive travel insurance.

Activities & Excursions: Participation in water sports, shore excursions, and recreational activities is at the guest's own risk. Professional instruction and safety equipment are provided.

5. Data Handling & Privacy

Aura Voyage is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data in accordance with GDPR and Albanian data protection laws.

  • • Charter booking and management

Governing Law & Disputes

6. Legal Framework

These terms and conditions are governed by Albanian maritime law and the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any disputes arising from charter agreements will be subject to the jurisdiction of Albanian courts.

Alternative Dispute Resolution: Aura Voyage encourages mediation and arbitration as preferred methods for resolving disputes before pursuing legal action.
